Yes, that is what it is built for. For the yard that flies the flag. Bought for veterans and proud grandfathers, for Veterans Day, Christmas and the Fourth of July, and by anyone who wants the front yard to say where they stand.

Put it right under the flagpole. My husband served 22 years and he walks out to look at it every evening.
The flag flies by day, but at night the yard goes dark
The Solar Flag Eagle Garden Light is a bald eagle landing with its wings spread wide. One wing is painted navy with white stars, the other red and white stripes, and the base reads LAND OF THE FREE.
The solar panel on the stake charges in the sun all day. At dusk the eagle switches on by itself and glows warm from inside, so the wings light up like stained glass all night.
How it works with the Solar Flag Eagle Garden Light
Four steps. Nothing complicated.
Step 1.
Push the stake into the ground where it gets sun during the day.
Step 2.
Turn the solar panel toward the sun.
Step 3.
Let it charge in the daylight.
Result.
At dusk it switches on by itself and glows all night.

What actually makes a good eagle
Three things make it worth it.
The design. Wings in stars and stripes and a base that reads LAND OF THE FREE. It says something, day and night.
The glow. At night the eagle lights up from inside instead of just shining a dot on the ground.
No work. No cables, no outlet, no switch. Put it in the sun once and it runs by itself.
Out every night, all year
It is not a seasonal decoration that goes back in a box. It stands by the flag through Veterans Day, Christmas, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July, and lights up every evening on its own.
