My husband says every single year that he does not want anything. I got him the red one and he put it straight on his desk next to his amp. He switches it on every evening.
This one isn't going in a drawer. A vintage studio microphone turned into a robot, built from real nuts and bolts, holding his own guitar. It stands on his desk and glows warm every evening, and every guest asks about it.
Nothing to assemble. Plug it in and it glows.

Most presents get used once. This one stands next to his amp, his records or his bed, and he switches it on every evening. Six guitars to choose from, so it can match the one he actually plays.
Verified reviews from customers who bought the lamp.
My husband says every single year that he does not want anything. I got him the red one and he went quiet, then put it straight on his desk next to his amp. He switches it on every evening.
Bought the acoustic one for my son who has played since he was twelve. He is 19 and has never kept a present on display before. This one is on his shelf.
Everyone who comes round asks about it. It sits next to my record player and looks like it has always been there.
The detail is unreal. Every nut and bolt is actual metal, it has a proper weight to it. Not the plastic thing I expected.
Got the white bass for my brother, he plays bass in a pub band. He sent me a photo of it on his amp the same night.
Bought it for myself, no shame. Best thing on my desk. The glow through the microphone grille is lovely in the evening.
Impossible man to buy for. Socks, whisky, more socks. This finally landed. He laughed when he opened it.
My wife got me the black one. I have Strats in the same colour so it is perfect. Guests always pick it up.
Ordered for my dad's 60th. He has played guitar for forty years. He said it is the best present he has had in ages.
Really lovely lamp and very well made. Took one star off only because now my husband wants a second one for the shed.
Proper conversation piece. My mate asked where I got it before he had even sat down.
Bought the classical one for my son who is learning Spanish guitar. He loved that it matches his own guitar.
Heavy, solid, chrome looks great. The warm light is perfect as a night lamp in the studio.
Christmas present sorted in October for once. Hidden in the wardrobe and I keep taking it out to look at it.
Looks even better in person than the photos. The guitar is detailed down to the strings and the tuning pegs.
My boyfriend is a drummer but loves guitars. I chose the red electric and he put it on his bedside table.
The kind of thing you never knew you needed. It is on my desk at work now and people keep coming over to look.
Bought two, the white electric for my husband and the acoustic for my father in law. Both thrilled.
Fantastic piece. Would have liked a gift box with it, but the lamp itself is brilliant.
My son turned 16 and wanted nothing but guitar stuff. This was the hit of the day, more than the gift card.
I play in a covers band and the black one sits on my amp at home. Gets comments every time.
Ordered on a Sunday night, wrapped it straight away. Exactly as pictured.
The glow is warm and soft, not harsh at all. Lovely next to the vinyl.
Bought for my husband who restores old radios and loves anything vintage. He was genuinely touched.
Brilliant quality. You can tell it is real metal the moment you pick it up.
My dad cried a bit, not going to lie. He used to sing in a band in the eighties.
Got the white bass because I play bass. Finally someone remembers us bassists.
Perfect for the man who has everything. He did not have this.
Desk looks ten times better. Switch it on at night and it is a proper mood light.
Bought for my partner's birthday, he plays acoustic. He keeps telling people his girlfriend found it.
Excellent craftsmanship. The microphone head is exactly like the old studio mics.
Gorgeous lamp. Only four stars because I could not decide which guitar and ended up buying two.
Better than anything in the gift shops on the high street. Unique and well made.
My brother is impossible to shop for. This was a winner, he loves it.
Sits on the shelf in my music room. Even my teenagers think it is cool, which is a first.
Bought the classical one for my husband who plays Spanish guitar. Spot on.
Solid metal, lovely light, great idea. Cannot fault it.
Gave it to my son when he passed his grade 5 guitar. He put it right next to his amp.
Second one I have bought. The first was a gift and I wanted one for myself.
Arrived well packed. My husband had it on his desk within minutes.
My guitar teacher has one, so I bought one too. It looks fantastic in the evening.
Bought for my grandson who plays in a school band. He was over the moon.
The red electric looks exactly like my first guitar. Nostalgia in lamp form.
Lovely present and very well made. My husband wants the bass one now as well, so here we go again.
Finally something cool for my studio. The warm glow is perfect for late sessions.
Every visitor comments on it. My husband is so proud of it.
Bought for myself after seeing it on Facebook. No regrets at all.
The best gift I have given him in twenty years of marriage. He actually uses it every day.
Pick the one that is most like him. Red, White or Black Electric for the rock fan, Acoustic or Classical for the one who plays by the fire, White Bass for the bassist nobody notices but everybody hears.
Yes. The body is built from real metal nuts, bolts and washers, and the head is a polished chrome microphone.
Plug it in with its cable and the microphone head glows warm through the grille. A soft, warm mood light, made for a desk, a shelf or a bedside table, not for reading.
No. It arrives ready to plug in.

Excellent! 4.8/5 based on 3,146 reviews
Bought it for the grandkids and ended up ordering one for myself. Super easy to order and quick replies from customer service when I had a question.
This is truly one of my best purchases ever. My daughter had all three singing before I had the box in the recycling, so happy!
Bought it before December and was pleasantly surprised. No chocolate, no sugar, just something new every morning. The whole family loves it!
Gave it to my sister who is impossible to shop for. She sent me a photo of the door every day in December. Thank you!
Ordered on Tuesday, had the package on Friday. Looked exactly like the pictures, and the quality is better than I expected.
Third time ordering from Velora. Always the same: nice packaging, fast delivery and products that do what they promise.
