Is it a good gift?
+
Yes, that is what it is built for. For the grandparents who want the grandkids glued to something that is not a screen. Bought by families who loved the Christmas villages in department store windows, and by collectors who want one piece that moves, lights up and plays music.

My grandson sat at the table for half an hour just watching the train go around the ice rink. Best decoration we own.
A Christmas village looks sweet until you realize nothing in it ever moves
The Animated Christmas Train Ice Rink Village is the whole magic in one piece. A red and black steam train runs along the track around the village, through the tunnel and past a frozen ice rink where the skaters glide across the ice.
Around it, snow-covered cottages glow from every window, street lamps light the path and pine trees stand in the snow while holiday music plays. Set it on the table, the mantel or the sideboard and watch the family lean in with their chins in their hands, following the train around and around.
How it works with the Animated Christmas Train Ice Rink Village
Four steps. Nothing complicated.
-
Step 1
Take it out of the box, the village comes in one piece
-
Step 2
Set it on a table, mantel or sideboard
-
Step 3
Switch it on
-

Watch the train circle the rink while the music plays
What actually makes a good Christmas village
Three things decide if a Christmas village gets watched or gets ignored.
It has to move. The train circles the rink, around and around, all evening.
It has to glow. Every cottage window and street lamp lights up the snowy scene.
It has to be easy. No layout to build, no tracks to connect. It comes as one finished scene.
The piece the whole family gathers around
Kids and grandparents end up at the table together, watching the train and pointing at the skaters. It becomes the Christmas tradition everyone waits for when the decorations come out.
