Is it a good gift?
+
Yes, that is what it is built for. For dragon fans, fantasy lovers and anyone who loves mechanical, robotic designs. Bought for boys and teens who are hard to shop for, for gamers who want something cool on the desk, and as the gift with a reveal: they open an egg and pull out a dragon.

My son opened the egg on Christmas morning and the whole family wanted a turn. It sits next to his computer now.
It looks like a black egg until a dragon unfolds out of it
The Egg to Dragon Mechanical Toy begins as a smooth black egg with panel seams, bronze fasteners and a red button on top. Nobody guesses what is inside.
Open the shell and the connected parts unfold: the head comes out, the wings spread, four clawed legs stand up and the segmented tail curls behind. In a few moves the egg is a fierce mecha dragon with amber eyes. Pose the wings, set it on the desk, and fold it back into the egg whenever you want to do the reveal again.
How it works with the Egg to Dragon Mechanical Toy
Four steps. Nothing complicated.
-
Step 1
Start with the closed black egg
-
Step 2
Open the shell panels
-
Step 3
Unfold the head, legs and segmented tail
-
Result
Spread the wings and pose your mecha dragon
What actually makes a good dragon
Three things decide if a figure gets played with or forgotten.
The surprise. An egg that turns into a dragon gets shown to everyone who walks in.
The hands-on part. Unfolding it yourself is the fun, again and again.
The look. Jointed limbs, wing frames and a black finish that looks like a machine, not a cartoon.
The thing everyone wants to try
Most people buy it as a gift and then watch every visitor pick it up and transform it. It goes from egg to dragon and back again all day long.
